How we lend responsibly
Every application goes through a credit check and a full affordability assessment. We look at your real income and expenses from your bank statements and payslips, not just a credit score. If an instalment would stretch you too far, we will offer a smaller amount, a longer term, or decline, even if that means losing the sale.
- We never approve more than our affordability assessment supports.
- We show you the full cost of your loan before you sign.
- We lend within the limits of the National Credit Act.
- We report your account accurately to the credit bureaux.
Borrowing wisely
Short-term credit is best for genuine, short-term needs. A few simple habits keep the cost down and protect your record:
- Borrow only what you truly need.
- Choose the shortest term you can comfortably manage.
- Repay on or before your due date.
- Avoid taking a new loan to repay an old one.
